At around noon on Sunday, a bullet was fired at Missouri's Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis.

Shortly after, a suspect named Razara Kelly was taken into custody. According to Missouri TV station KSDK, she was accused of using a weapon unlawfully. Later, Kelly told police that the shooting was a "celebration of life." KTVI, a St. Louis television station, claims that Kelly was also allegedly driving erratically close to the gambling establishment.

Six People Arrested, Equipment Taken

Approximately 35 electronic gaming machines were taken during a raid on an illegal gambling establishment on Saturday in Walker County, Alabama.

At the scene, six suspects who were wanted on outstanding warrants were captured. Both two and four had outstanding warrants with the Jasper Police Department and the Walker County Sheriff's Office, respectively.

According to the sheriff's office's Facebook post, "gambling via the use of primarily chance electronic gaming machines, along with cash payouts, remains illegal in Walker County, and enforcement will continue as necessary."

Authorities in Florida seize 247 devices

In the previous week, the Lee County Sheriff's Office conducted three raids on illegal arcades in Florida. $109,246 and 247 gaming machines were seized.

Spin City on Reflections Parkway in Fort Myers, Spinners Arcade in Iona, and Lucky's Arcade in Bonita Springs were named as the illegal operations.
Stephanie Boughton-Hill, a Lucky's Arcade employee, was charged on Wednesday with drug possession and working at an unlicensed arcade.

According to the authorities, the gaming machines were "basically slot machines where cash is inserted directly into the machines," according to a local news website, Al.com.

According to the Walker County Sheriff's Office, a drug overdose occurred on the premises. Despite the fact that no one at the gambling establishment called for an ambulance, the person was later revived, according to a Facebook post. On Saturday night, sheriff Nick Smith shut down the casino on Mays Road.

According to Carl Herold, director of gaming enforcement at the Florida Gaming Control Commission, "if you are running that, and running that means not necessarily being the owner, but it could be... just any worker that's there that keeps the business operating while the owner is away, is in violation of Florida law."

Herold told WBBH that the Lee County Sheriff's Office "should be commended for being so proactive in taking down these arcades that are harming your community."
