Kalshi looks to be nearing the debut of a host program targeted at high-volume sports trading that would resemble the rewards schemes that conventional sportsbooks provide to large bettors.

A sports trader's X account, @CSP_Trading, posted a message from a Kalshi Platinum team employee, highlighting the Kalshi plan. The platinum initiative and its rewards scheme for elite sports bettors and dealers have not been made public by Kalshi.

"Kalshi appears to be rolling out a ‘Host’ program for high volume sports betting accounts similar to what Draftkings and other casinos offer. Some of the perks mentioned are comped dinners, tickets to sporting events, and free merch,” notes CSP_Trading.

Adin Smith, a Kalshi employee, states in the opening message that the organization has been "brainstorming" ideas to better serve "loyal customers." Although it has not yet been made public, Kalshi Platinum seems to be the outcome of such thinking.

Kalshi Platinum Seems Concentrated on Sports Customers

Kalshi Platinum is being discussed at a time when there is growing discussion about prediction markets' capacity to generate growth outside of contracts for sporting events, which is thought to be crucial to the long-term growth trajectory of the sector.

Last year, enormous volume growth on prediction markets were fueled by sports derivatives, particularly football, which led to 11-figure valuations for Kalshi and Polymarket. However, a number of legal challenges and regulatory scrutiny were brought about by the operators' adoption of sports event contracts, which critics claim makes them equivalent to traditional sportsbooks.

In light of this, it's intriguing that Kalshi Platinum seems to be targeting the most active sports traders on the site rather than customers with similar activity levels in other markets.

“(I) spoke with a few high volume kalshi traders, almost none of them got invites. it appears to be only the high volume sports traders,” said CSP_Trading in a follow-up tweet.

Kalshi Platinum May Reflect Sportsbook Products

According to Smith's email to CSP_Trading, Kalshi Platinum offers referral bonuses, a dedicated account representative on hand eighteen hours a day, and upcoming benefits "as we build out the program."

As of right now, Kaslhi Platinum seems to be developing in a manner similar to the incentives schemes that traditional bookmakers provide to its elite customers. For instance, DraftKings improved their Dynasty Rewards customer loyalty program in late 2024, focusing especially on VIPs. The 2025 Elite Rewards Gifts and Experience Catalog was one of those.

These options, which are available to players in the Diamond and Onyx Tiers of Dynasty Rewards, include vacations, high-end watches, Broadway show tickets, and bundles of Apple goods.
